French Metric Time

I never knew about the French Republic Calendar. This is like the future metric time I used to talk about in the 2000s. The Soviet Calendar reminds me of Zamiatin's Time Table, in a mechanized world. Perhaps all this renewed interest in time comes as a result of watching In Time on Red Box last night.
