The future

Optimism for the future, it's congagious. I'm usually stuck somewhere between fearing and hoping for the future. Byron Reese is betting on the positive side. He has an interesting timeline of past and future based on Science Fiction, though incomplete, something I've thought about creating to compare a lot over time, especially with regards to the browser wars and Mac-vs-PC delaying the AI of 2001, and the far-fetched expectations of Popular Science futurists.

Twist of Fate

Saw Twist of Fate last night at the MN Fringe festival, Mixed Blood theater. I especially liked the organic use of motion and people to create scenery and effects.

Shows the different kinds of life experiences between growing up in the US versus a refuge camp, how people of good intentions can come together, and skilled youth actors that have a bright future.
