Arduino Storage + GPS

Goal: to perform water quality datalogging with GPS information and later plot that data using google maps (or equivalent).

  • I found example 3 to be the most useful
  • I didn't care about the destination, so I set
  • dgps.update(0,0);
  • and commented out the destination/distance/debug code
  • Gps3.ino
• Seeedstudio SD Card Shield
  • I have the v3.0 SD shield
  • Uses port 10 to read (modify any SD example code to use that)
  • The SD card must be formatted to FAT32
  • Remember you need to use an 8.3 filename convention, if you do not you will just get an error on the SD.open command.
